It determines which data to show for a particular column according to the following formula:
- If the view is a Library View, or if the column is One (Rating) or Two (Rating), show the final value for that library
- If the final value in library "One" is non-empty, show that value
- Otherwise, show the final value from library "Two"
More information about the various columns is detailed below:
- The Status shows a column summarizing the song's current match status. It also indicates whether any changes have been made by appending "(modified)" to the status.* Here are the possible statuses:
- Not matched: The song does not yet have a match in the other library
- Song data differs: The song is matches, but one or more of Name, Artist, Album or Genre is different.
- User data differs: The song is matches, but one or more of Rating, Play Count or Last Played is different.
- Exact match: The song is an exact match in both libraries
- Name is disabled because you cannot hide this column.
- The File Name column shows the file, coloring it gray if it cannot be found.** This column is disabled by default.
- The actual menu items for One (Rating) and Two (Rating) will include the names of your libraries instead of "One" and "Two". These columns in all views are disabled by default.
*If you are looking at a library view, TuneSync only shows the "(modified)" flag if the library being viewed has been modified. **TuneSync checks files asynchronously, so there is no performance penalty incurred for files on a network. For this reason, TuneSync may show valid files in gray until they have been determined to exist, at which point the text will turn black.
