Network
From the first menu, select SETUP
, then SYSTEM
. The fourth option
on the left is NETWORK
. You'll see:
Data Rate | <=28.8Kb |
---|---|
Snapshots | 20 (slider) |
These are the default settings. Make sure that your data rate is set
properly for your machine. Most of us have 56K connections. If you find
that you are getting a lot of lockups (dropping packets, etc.), you can
turn down the Snapshots
. This specifies
how many times you receive information from the server, in times per second.
The default is 20 snapshots per second, but that may be too much for your
computer or connection. Try turning it down and see if your packet loss
levels out.
