Network

From the first menu, select SETUP, then SYSTEM. The fourth option on the left is NETWORK. You'll see:

Data Rate <=28.8Kb
Snapshots 20 (slider)

These are the default settings. Make sure that your data rate is set properly for your machine. Most of us have 56K connections. If you find that you are getting a lot of lockups (dropping packets, etc.), you can turn down the Snapshots. This specifies how many times you receive information from the server, in times per second. The default is 20 snapshots per second, but that may be too much for your computer or connection. Try turning it down and see if your packet loss levels out.
