Cranberry Orange Bread

From the kitchen of Karen’s Kitchen.

very moist
great for breakfast
you can use the muffin pan too
muffins are great for the guy on the run

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 tbs baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • ½ cup margarine or butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1¼ cups coarsely chopped cramberries
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. combine dry ingredients add juice, margarine and eggs
  2. mix untill moistened
  3. stir in cranberries and nuts
  4. pour into greased 9 × 5 loaf pan
  5. bake 350 for 1 hr 15 min or
  6. until wooded pick inserted in middle comes out clear
