Whole Wheat Biscuits

  • 2 c. whole wheat flour
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • ¾ to 1 c. milk (if you use butter milk add ¼ tsp. baking soda)
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil


Stir together all dry ingredients. Add ¾ cup milk and oil stir until just moistened. Add more milk if necessary. You make muffins or drop biscuits, by adding more milk cook on greased cookie sheet or muffin pan. Cook 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
